Charlie Watts, the Rolling Stones' drummer since the amazing stone gathering framed, has passed on at age 80, as per his London marketing specialist, Bernard Doherty. 


Doherty reported in an articulation Tuesday morning: "It is with monstrous pity that we declare the demise of our dearest Charlie Watts. He died calmly in a London emergency clinic recently encompassed by his family. The news comes after Watts went through an undisclosed operation recently. Charles Robert "Charlie" Watts was brought into the world in Bloomsbury, London, on June 2, 1941, and he began drumming around age 13 after he was propelled by a recording of Chico Hamilton playing Gerry Mulligan. His first drum was really a banjo head that he played with brushes; in 1955, his folks got him his first genuine drum unit, and he rehearsed by cooperating to his darling Charlie Parker and Duke Ellington records, never taking real exercises. After three years, Watts started his expert melodic profession in a jazz band called the Jo Jones All Stars.
